Sturgeon River Falls

Sturgeon River Falls

A large powerful waterfall surrounded by tall thick tress is the Sturgeon River Falls. Located in Baraga County and part of a very large watershed the “Mighty” Sturgeon River flows into a gorge like area in this portion of the river. Deep gorges pocket this area and eventually flow into the falls section where water foams and bubbles in a powerful flow.
