Fall Colors in Chassell
Chassell is a great stop along your Fall Color Tour if you like small-town visiting. The town has a few little shops, a general store, VFW, and about 1,878 people live here in this tiny little town. However, the fall colors and sunsets are beautiful around the area. Visit Chassell Park and get a great view of the bay and the surrounding hills. Head west out of town on Painsedale Rd. and drive past endless farmer fields and woods that showcase the beauty of the Copper Country. Paradise Rd, just out of Chassell, is an excellent country rd that eventually connects to Houghton. The road offers plenty of fabulous field views plus some occasional views of Lake Superior and the Huron Mountains.
