Misery River and the Wyandotte Falls

To see this falls, go to Twin Lakes on M-26 and turn to the Wyandotte Golf Course on Poyhonen Road, go to the end of the road past the golf course buildings. A small parking lot will be found about 100 feet past the buildings. A small sign (see last pictue) indicates where the trail begins. The Misery River is about 75 feet down the trail and the Falls is about 100 feet further down the river. Trail is poor in spring and very wet and slippery. There are no guard rails and children will need to be watched very carefully as the River is very fast and dangerous during the Spring and heavy rainfalls. Definitely worth a trip to experience it for yourself.
